Hey! I’m Kelly. I teach mums with young kids how to take a break & manage stress with mindfulness, so they can spend less time feeling anxious, overwhelmed & angry, and more time loving life as a mum.
Seriously, these enormous emotions hit you like a bloody freight train hey. Joy, elation, anxiety, guilt, frustration, rage… take your pick – it’s unlikely you’ve experienced any emotion with the intensity you do now you’re a mum. But with the right tools in hand to minimise stress & maximise joy, motherhood can be a smoother ride for us all.
I’m on a mission to improve the lives of a million frazzled mamas by providing mindfulness resources tailor-made for early motherhood. I’m living proof that with the right tools in hand, it’s possible to transition from stressed out, guilt-ridden, fire-breathing-dragon-like mother of two, to chilled out, (mostly!) peaceful parent in a short span of time.
The best news is that mindfulness skills are simple to learn & take less time than you think – as little as a couple of minutes a day will change your brain & your life for the better. I hope, like me, they help you lose your worries, tame your temper & fill your heart.
Mindfulness in schools
The benefits of mindfulness extend to the whole family. Supporting our children to practice mindfulness helps them to settle unhelpful thoughts & feelings, & increases focus. It shows benefits like letting go of worry, anxiety & doubt. Mindfulness also helps children develop kindness & curiosity, & improves their ability to learn.
